He is an expert at enhancing the key components of communication including the message (scripting), the media (visual design), and the mechanics (delivery). His seminars and workshops have been rated as "exceptional" and "entertaining" and many consider Tom one of the country's top presentation specialists. Timothy Dyck has been using, supporting, and developing Microsoft Office applications since 1984 (when he was blown away seeing Microsoft Word for DOS's on-screen italics for the first time). He is a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer and has an honors degree in Computer Science from the University of Waterloo, Ontario, Canada. He is now a contributing editor for PC Week Labs, specializing in databases and Web development tools.

A film student in New York City and Web designer at his own small firm of MacIntyre & Company, Robert spends his waking hours attempting to break free of obscurity (screenwriting), communing with fellow digit-heads (Web development), and trying to maintain his sanity (sleeping, eating, etc.).

He holds a Ph.D. in Latin American Literature and Linguistics from the University of California, Irvine, and has taught and written extensively on DOS, Windows, and WordPerfect. He authored Que's WordPerfect for Windows Hot Tips and contributed to Special Edition Using WordPerfect Suite 8 and Special Edition Using Microsoft Office 97 Professional, Bestseller Edition.
