Creating and Modifying Queries

Like other Office wizards, the Access query wizards are efficient at guiding you smoothly through the steps of a complex process, providing detailed explanations of the choices you need to make, and enabling you to view graphic representations of the results.

Although Design view is a more versatile environment in which to create queries, it's often easier to begin by using a wizard to create a basic query. After you finish with the wizard, you can then open the query in Design view to modify the result.
