Creating and Editing Images

Although PhotoDraw cannot be considered a serious competitor to professional graphic- and image-manipulating tools, such as Adobe PhotoShop, it does provide some capability that you'll find nowhere else in Office. To create your own images from scratch, or to add hand-drawn elements to existing images (including scanned photographs), you'll most commonly use the Draw Paint visual menu. Under the Draw Paint visual menu are three submenus for Draw, Shapes, and Paint. All three of these submenus create objects that can be easily manipulated and altered. Even the Paint tools create objects that can be reformatted at any time.

Creating a Background Margin Image

To create a functional left-aligned image with color and texture to use in a Web page, use the Draw Paint visual menu:
