Chapter 52. PhotoDraw Essentials > Getting Started with PhotoDraw

Getting Started with PhotoDraw

Although PhotoDraw's modest set of graphics and image control capabilities won't stun a seasoned graphics professional, they do add yet another tool to the growing Office arsenal. Although other applications within the suite provide some capability to create and edit graphics, you'll quickly find that PhotoDraw gives you more control over your graphics than you've ever had before—from within the confines of Office, anyway.

As one of the newest additions to the Office 2000 suite, PhotoDraw is targeted at the business professional, so its interface and tools are designed to be powerful and intuitive. PhotoDraw includes both illustration and image-editing tools in one package, opening a wide range of possibilities—particularly for creating Web site images or PowerPoint presentations.
