Creating and Using Data-Entry Forms

Excel lets you turn any worksheet into a fill-in-the-blanks data form analogous to the paper forms that overwhelm the typical office. Don't confuse these forms with the built-in Excel dialog boxes you use to view and edit data in Excel lists. Data entry forms are full-fledged workbooks that let you tap the full range of Excel's capabilities to tightly control the type of data a user can enter, and then store it in a wide range of locations.
