Chapter 44. Designing and Using Forms > Changing a Form's Design

Changing a Form's Design

When you open a form in Design view, you can manipulate the properties of any control to produce the exact effects and appearance you want. You can move a control to a new location within a form, change its size and color, and change data and event properties that ultimately determine how a control functions in the context of the form you are designing. You can also add new controls and change the type of any existing control from the default text box to a broad assortment of alternatives.

To open any form in Design view, click the Forms button at the left side of the database window, select the form object that you want to work with, and click the Design button. If the form is already open, click the Design button to switch into Design view.
