Chapter 50. Creating Advanced Web Pages > Serving Live Pages from a Database

Serving Live Pages from a Database

New to FrontPage 2000, you can create pages that deliver live data from a database accessible from the Web server. The page queries the database each time the page is loaded or refreshed and shows the latest results. FrontPage uses Active Server Pages and Active Date Components to perform the database integration, which requires that your Web server support them. Typically, you find these features only by using Microsoft's Windows NT-based Internet Information Server.
