Copying Sheets

A typical Excel workbook is made of several worksheets, most of which you need only once in the workbook. At times, however, you may need to copy a sheet within a workbook or between workbooks, as in the following examples:

  • To create an identical sheet in the same or a different workbook

  • To preserve a copy of a sheet, enabling you to experiment with numbers in the duplicate version
