Changing a Data Series

A data series (page 342) is represented by the bars in a bar chart, the columns in a column chart, and so on. For example, if you have a column chart and a set of the individual columns is one color, all the columns of that color together represent a data series.

In addition to formatting data series by changing the color, pattern, and so on, you can add or remove data series in the chart, as described in the following sections.
