Working with Styles

Styles are collections of formats, designed to make several formatting changes at once through the application of the style to a cell or range. For example, the Normal style—the default style that's applied to all new Excel content—consists of specific font, alignment, border, pattern, and other settings. To work with styles, choose Format, Style to open the Style dialog box shown in Figure 6.9.
