Finding and Replacing Data

Office 2000's Find and Replace feature enables you to search for a word or number and replace it with something else. This can be an invaluable tool for updating a worksheet to reflect current dates, or to make a sweeping change that eliminates outdated names or jargon within your workbook.

Find and Replace is performed on a per-worksheet basis, requiring that you repeat it for each worksheet in your workbook if the change you require is found throughout the entire book.
