Using the Properties Window

When you work with objects using VBA, one of the most common elements you must manage is the properties of those objects. Later, you will learn how to manage properties using VBA code. Often, though, it is useful to view and change properties using the Properties window in the VBE. This process is known as making design-time changes to properties.

A property is an attribute, or characteristic, of an object. You'll see many examples of objects and their properties as we continue to use VBA code. Here are a few examples of properties that are available in the VBE environment.
