Using Hyperlinks with Office 97 Applications

If you have used an Internet browser, such as Microsoft Internet Explorer, you are probably familiar with the concept of hyperlinks. A hyperlink is text, a graphic, or another object on a Web page that is highlighted in some way, inviting you to click it. When you click the hyperlink, you automatically jump to another location. That other location may be a different spot on the same page, a different page on the same Web site, or an entirely different Web site anywhere on the Internet.

To learn more about creating hyperlinks to Web pages and about converting Word documents into Web pages, see Chapter 26, "Working with Web Pages."
