Inserting Objects into Workbooks

You can use several methods to place an OLE object in an Excel workbook. You can select the method you want to use based on convenience as well as the degree of control you want over the process of creating and manipulating the objects.

Using the Insert Object Command

The most formal method for creating OLE objects is to use the Insert Object command. This command gives you the most control over the process of creating objects and enables you to choose whether to create linked or embedded objects.
