Some Object Examples

The number of different types of OLE objects that are available to be inserted in your workbooks is limited only by which applications have been installed on your system. Each time you install a new application on your computer, its setup program may add one or more references in the Windows Registry, which lets Excel and other programs know what objects are available on the computer. This also lets Windows find the program that is needed when you want to activate the program.

The next few sections show some examples of objects that you might want to use in your workbooks.
