Using the Database Form to Enter Data

Although you can directly enter your data into the spreadsheet, it will be easier for you and those who will use the database if you create a database form:

  • The data entry person will be less likely to enter information into the wrong fields because the fields in the form are easy to distinguish.

  • The data entry person doesn't have to posses any particular Excel skills enter data.

  • Using the database form for data entry ensures that all data gets associated with the database.
