Bubble Charts

Bubble charts are new to Excel 97. They are very similar to X-Y Scatter charts, except that the size of each data point indicates a third dimension of the data. Bubble charts use three columns of data. The first column indicates the X-axis on the chart, the second indicates the Y-axis, and the third controls the size of each bubble. Figure 12.21 shows an example of a bubble chart.
