Understanding Color Schemes and Backgrounds

Color schemes are sets of professionally selected complementary colors that you can use as the primary colors of a presentation. Each color scheme controls the color of the background, lines, text, shadows, fills, and other items on a slide. Using one of these color schemes ensures that your presentation looks appealing and professional.

Backgrounds are designs that control the way color appears on a slide. For example, you can select a background that spreads the color out from the upper-left corner to the edges.
