Lesson 3. Getting Around in PowerPoint > The Presentation Window

The Presentation Window

In the center of the PowerPoint window is a presentation window. (It's probably maximized, so it flows seamlessly into the larger PowerPoint window.) You use this window to create your slides and arrange them into a presentation. At the bottom of the presentation window are several buttons that enable you to change views. Figure 3.1 shows a presentation in Outline view, whereas Figure 3.2 shows the same presentation in Slide view. For details about changing views, see Lesson 5.
