Lesson 24. Creating Speaker's Notes > Creating Speaker's Notes Pages

Creating Speaker's Notes Pages

You already have the slide part of the speaker's notes pages. All you need to do is type the notes. You type notes in Notes Pages view, as follows:

  1. Open the presentation for which you want to create speaker's notes pages.

  2. Click the Notes Pages View button at the bottom of the presentation window or select View, Notes Pages. The currently selected slide appears in Notes Pages view, as shown in Figure 24.1.

  3. Click on the Notes text box in the lower half of the notes page to select it.

  4. To see what you type, open the Zoom Control drop-down list on the Standard toolbar and click on a zoom percentage (refer to Figure 24.1). 100% works well.

  5. Type the text that you want to use as notes material for this slide. (You can include reminders, jokes, supporting data, or explanations about how the slide fits in with the presentation's big picture.)

  6. Press the Page Up or Page Down key to move to another notes page, and then repeat step 5.

  7. Format your text if you want. (For details on how to format text, refer to Lessons 12 and 13.)
