Changing the Chart Type

By default, Microsoft Graph creates a three-dimensional column chart. If you want Microsoft Graph to display your data in a different type of chart, perform the following steps:

  1. Choose Chart, Chart Type. The Chart Type dialog box appears, as shown in Figure 19.2.

  2. Click on the desired chart type from the Chart Type area.

  3. Click on a sub-type from the Chart Sub-type area. The sub-types change depending on what type you chose in step 2.

  4. (Optional) To view a sample before you accept the chart, click and hold down the mouse button on the Press and Hold to View Sample button.

  5. (Optional) To make this type of chart the default, click the Set as default chart button.

  6. Click OK.
