Using the Format Cells Dialog Box

You can change the look of your text by using the Format Cells dialog box. Just follow these steps:

  1. Select the cell or range that contains the text you want to format.

  2. Open the Formatmenu and choose Cells, or press Ctrl+1. (You can also right-click the selected cells and choose Format Cellsfrom the shortcut menu.)

  3. Click the Fonttab. The Font options jump to the front, as shown in Figure 18.2.

  4. Select the options you want.

  5. Click OK or press Enter.
