Printing Equations

Printing equations is easy with the TrueType fonts provided with Windows 95. In addition to the TrueType fonts that come with Windows 95, you will need the TrueType font MT Extra, which is installed when you install Equation Editor. TrueType fonts are scalable fonts used for both the screen display and the printed page, so what you see on the screen will closely match what is produced by your printer. With TrueType fonts, you can print your equations on virtually any type of printer. You don't have to worry about what fonts are built into your printer.

Caution

If you see boxes on screen instead of equations, choose Tools, Options, then click the View tab. Clear the Picture Placeholders check box.
