Sending Faxes and Electronic Mail with WordMail

If you have a fax/modem and Office 97 installed, you can fax and e-mail your Word documents directly from your computer. Word comes with WordMail. In conjunction with Microsoft Exchange, you can fax and e-mail documents. WordMail is a built-in feature of Word for Windows 95. It enables Word to act as a fax and e-mail editor. Microsoft Exchange is a universal communications manager that is part of Windows 95. Microsoft Exchange takes care of both fax and e-mail transmissions. Together, WordMail and Microsoft Exchange make a powerful package.

The benefit of using WordMail as your e-mail editor is that you can use all the editing and formatting power of Word to improve the layout and appearance of your e-mail messages.
