Fitting More of the Outline into the Window

One of the great benefits of using an outline view of your document is that you get an overview of your document's organization. As you work with an outline to organize a document, you might want to view more of the outline than usually fits into the display window. To enable you to do so, Word for Windows provides two methods that you can use separately or in combination.

If you expand all or some headings to display subordinate body text, you might find that parts of the outline are pushed out of the display window. To view more of the outline, you can display the first line of each body text paragraph only, instead of the entire paragraph.
