Calculating Math Results in a Table

You can perform calculations in a table just as you do in a spreadsheet. In a Word table, you can add, subtract, multiply, and divide numbers, and you also can perform several other types of calculations, such as averaging and finding minimum and maximum values.

To perform a calculation in a table, you must position the insertion point in the cell where you want the calculation's result to appear. If text or numbers are already in that cell, you should delete them.
