Getting In-Depth Help Online

You may have noticed that when you typed MsgBox and pressed the spacebar, the syntax for the MsgBox function displayed in a ScreenTip-style window. This is a new feature of Visual Basic for Applications and saves you from memorizing the syntax of the statement. The MsgBox function has an argument list beginning with the argument Prompt. The Prompt argument is displayed in a bold font denoting that it is a required argument. In our procedure, “The Standard Company Information is complete.” was the value assigned to the Prompt argument. The other available arguments are displayed as a normal font and are enclosed in square brackets ([ ]).
