Inserting and Copying Your Own Pictures into Your Document

You can insert a picture into the text of your document, a text box, or a table. Inserting a picture directly into your text is the simplest way to illustrate your document. You can work with inserted pictures in many ways; for example, you can group them together, wrap text around them, or layer them above or below text and other graphics.

Other techniques, however, sometimes offer advantages. Inserting a picture in one cell of a table enables you to position the picture adjacent to text in the next cell. Inserting a picture in a text box enables you to group the picture with text inside a common border.
