Editing and Converting Pictures

To edit a picture using the program in which it was created, you must have that program installed on your computer and the picture must have been inserted as an object. If not, when you attempt to edit the picture, Word places it in a Microsoft Word Picture window where you can edit it. The editing capabilities of Microsoft Word Picture, however, may not be as extensive as those of the original program.
