Managing Your Drawing

As you create your drawing, you will be working with many objects. There are some tools that can assist you with managing them. You can use the Clipboard to duplicate objects. You can group objects to be treated as one unit to make them easier to move, size, format, and duplicate. You can also place your drawing on a layer of your choice and determine how the text will flow around the drawing.

Duplicating Drawing Objects

There are times that you want to create several objects that have the same size and formatting. Rather than creating several objects and having to size and format them individually or select them and format them all at once, you can take advantage of the Clipboard. You can create one object and copy it to the Clipboard and then paste as many copies as needed (see Figure 27.21).
