Chapter 15. Browsing and Retrieving from a Web > Working and Browsing in Word

Working and Browsing in Word

Whether you are connected to the Internet or work on a stand-alone computer, Word's ability to navigate between linked Office 97 documents, intranet pages, and Internet pages opens new vistas.

If you work without a corporate intranet or Internet connection, you can still create a Web of Word and Office documents linked together by hyperlinks. Such a Web enables you and others to quickly jump between related documents. For example, you can create pages of product, service, and ordering information in Word and Excel documents. Link these documents by inserting hyperlinks as described in Chapter 14.
