Importing a Table

If you have already created a table in Word that you want to insert into your PowerPoint presentation, you can do so by choosing Insert, Object. This brings up the dialog box in Figure 12.6. Click Create From File and, when prompted, enter the name of the Word table you want to import. (If you don't know the name, PowerPoint allows you to browse your computer to find the file.) You can also choose Link To File; that means that whenever you change the table in Word, those changes will be reflected in PowerPoint. This is a useful way to ensure that your PowerPoint presentation always contains the latest information.
