Working with Existing Presentations in Outline View

When you open an existing presentation, the outline is already in place. It acts like a table of contents for the presentation, which is especially helpful when you're dealing with longer presentations or presentations prepared by someone else. Although you can page down or scroll down through the outline to find a topic, it's much faster to take advantage of PowerPoint's Find feature.

To quickly find a topic in a PowerPoint outline, follow these steps:
