Building Your Presentation in Outline View

I know using an outline goes against your grain. I never did them until after I wrote my term papers in school, but I find them really helpful when I'm putting my presentations together.

In the average presentation, bulleted lists make up about 90 percent of the slides. For that reason, you may find it easier and a great deal faster to enter all your text at one time in Outline view. Even if text is scarce in your presentation, use the outline to set the order of your slides by entering all the slide titles. This is a great way to organize your thoughts as you assemble your presentation.
