Any text or visual object in a PowerPoint slide can be an Internet hyperlink. Standard text, clip art, Word Art images, AutoShape images, charts, and more—anything in a slide that can be selected—can be an Internet hyperlink. PowerPoint provides a variety of images that can be used as hyperlinks. One such type of image is called Action Buttons, intended to be used as hyperlink icons in slide presentations.
Hyperlinks can be created so that during a presentation the link may be clicked or simply passed over with the mouse pointer to activate the link.
