Saving Your Presentation

You can put many hours into building a polished presentation: typing in text, applying color and design elements, modifying text, and moving things around on your slides until each looks perfect. It's a good idea to save the changes you make frequently as you work.

To save a PowerPoint file, click the Save button from the Standard toolbar, choose File, Save, or press Ctrl+S. If you have saved the file before, this will simply cause the latest version of the file to be saved. If you have not saved the file, the Save dialog box appears, as shown in Figure 2.21.
