A Guided Tour of PowerPoint's Print Dialog Box

The Print dialog box isn't especially complex, but the functions of some of the options are not immediately obvious. While things you do in PowerPoint can be undone quickly with just a keystroke or click of the mouse, printing once started can't be undone.

Well-designed Windows dialog boxes group complex sets of options into related areas; that's what PowerPoint's designers did with the Print dialog box. Let's look at it area by area and learn what all the controls do. Choose File, Print (or press Ctrl+P) to see the Print dialog box shown in Figure 17.6.
