Chapter 16. Running Your Presentation > Taking Your Show on the Road

Taking Your Show on the Road

Road shows are an ugly fact of life; pack up the presentation and board a late flight to Cincinnati. PowerPoint is a great tool for traveling because of the many ways a slide show can be delivered—by overhead, 35mm projector, or computer. If you're planning to display it via computer, you have the capability to modify the show right up until the last moment, and there's no risk of accidentally scrambling a batch of slides.

Using a computer to display PowerPoint slides while away from the home office used to be a hassle, but now it is fairly simple. Even if the available computer doesn't have PowerPoint 97, you can simply bring PowerPoint Viewer with you or use the Pack and Go Wizard.
