Chapter 16. Running Your Presentation > Taking Notes During a Presentation

Taking Notes During a Presentation

PowerPoint solves the problem of tracking action items, comments, and corrections throughout the actual presentation. Instead of jotting notes on a pad of paper or the Notes Pages, you can now enter the data directly into the presentation as it occurs.

Annotating Slides as You Go

You can use the pen tool to annotate slides as they are displayed. The pen provides a simple way to make course marks on the screen to draw attention to specific objects on the screen. The results will look only as good as you are skilled at drawing with the mouse, and, in fact, often resemble the graphics used on television to diagram football plays.
