Creating Presentations Destined for the Internet

It isn't really necessary to create a PowerPoint presentation specifically for publication on the Internet. You can use the Save As HTML Wizard to convert any PowerPoint presentation to a Web-based presentation that you can then publish to the Internet. You don't need to do anything special as long as you avoid obvious problem areas (such as type sizes that are too small to read on-screen). Keep your presentation simple—no hyperlinks to documents and files that won't be available on the Internet. Generally, if a presentation looks good as a screen show, it also works when viewed in a Web browser.

On the other hand, PowerPoint includes some options specifically tailored to creating a presentation that will end up on the Internet. Using these options can make your job a bit easier.
