Transitions and Timing

It's time to ad d th e final touches to your slide show. One powerful method of enhancing a presentation is to add a transition style to your slides. A transition style is the way in which the next slide in your presentation appears on the screen. If you use the Fade Through Black transition, for example, the current slide fades to a black screen, then the next slide fades in. Applying a transition style gives your presentation a more polished look and makes it more interesting to your audience.

Another frequently used enhancement is timing your slides. Time can be attached to a slide, or just to a component of the slide. You are not bound by the time you add to a slide. The slide show can be paused if you need to discuss a topic in more detail.
