Using Notes Pages Effectively

Let your Notes Pages act as a script for your presentation. You can write out the information you want to include about each of the slides. Not only will this help you formulate your thoughts, but by writing the notes out you are making your first step in rehearsing what you are going to say. Although your outline (and the slides that are generated by it) sets up the organization of your talk, there will be only a few key points per slide (see Chapter 4, "Working with Outline View" ). Your Notes Pages can hold as much text as you can fit on one page (see Figure 5.6).
