Chapter 7. Modifying Drawing Objects > Working with Several Objects

Working with Several Objects

When you are working with several objects , you may want to apply effects to more than one at once to save time. In addition, you may sometimes have to reorganize the order of objects in relation to one another, so that one appears in the front and others appear to fall behind it. The two PowerPoint features that enable you to manipulate objects this way are called Group and Order.

Grouping Objects

You can group as many objects as you like together. Once grouped, the objects behave as though they were a single object; anything you do to that group of objects—moving, resizing, formatting with different line styles and fill colors, or any other modification—applies to all the objects in the group.
