Taking Your First Look at PowerPoint

If you've used PowerPoint in an earlier version, or if you've used any of the recent releases of other products in the Microsoft Office suite, such as Word for Windows, you'll find that many of elements you see on the PowerPoint screen look familiar. The major features you'll observe on first entering the program are menus, toolbars, the status bar, and on-screen measuring aides such as rulers and guides.
