Using and Editing Color Palettes

No matter which tool you're using in PowerPoint, you'll frequently be given the opportunity to select a color for whatever element you're working with. You'll usually be given a small selection of colors to choose from, with a button to choose for More Colors. That, in turn, leads to the Color palette. If none of the preselected colors are right for you, then the Color palette invites you to find the one that is by choosing from predefined colors or creating your own.

There are two types of Color palettes: the Standard one, seen in Figure 21.15, and the Custom one, seen in Figure 21.16.
