Editing Data

If you're able to input errorless data into a datasheet on your first attempt, then you're one of a kind. Most people find they have to make changes—sometimes a lot of changes. Fortunately, the datasheet in PowerPoint makes editing data easy.

Working with Cells

The basic unit of the datasheet is the cell. To edit a cell, you first have to activate it or highlight it. A cell is activated when it has a dark border around it; it's highlighted when it appears in colors reverse to those around it (both are visible in Figure 10.25):
