Creating a Chart

To add a chart to your presentation, choose New Slide from the Common Tasks toolbar, or click the New Slide button on the Standard toolbar, then choose an AutoLayout that contains a chart from the New Slide dialog box. This will give you a slide with a placeholder where the chart will be placed (see Figure 10.3). The placeholder shows an Insert Chart icon and the words Double click to add chart.
