Copying Filtered Data to a New Location

Many reasons exist for working with copies of a subset of your data. A coworker, for example, might need a filtered portion of the list. Rather than give the coworker the entire list, you can filter out the unnecessary information. You also might need to make extensive changes to the format or insert formulas, and you don't want to endanger the original list. In this case, it makes sense to use a filtered copy that contains only the data you need.
