Sharing a Workbook with Others

What if one person is working on the totals area of a workbook and someone else is working on the main data area of the workbook at the same time? The new shared workbook feature of Microsoft Excel 97 allows you to do this. The shared workbook replaces the shared list feature found in Microsoft Excel 95.
