Using Arguments Within Functions

Most functions contain one or more arguments in the parentheses. If the function contains more than one argument, separate the arguments with commas. When you write a function, never include a space unless the space is in quoted text. In order to give the appearance of words, you can instead include an underscore, as in num_chars.
